Ingredients 

  • 3 apples, diced — any variety will work
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • cup raisins or dried cranberries
  • 2 cups old fashioned oats
  • 4 cups water

Instructions 

  • In a medium bowl, combine the diced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and raisins. Mix until the apples are evenly coated.
  • Spray the slow cooker with nonstick spray. Add the oats and water, stir to combine, then pour in the apple mixture. Cover and cook on LOW for 1–2 hours, until the oats are tender and the apples are soft.
  • Stir well before serving. Adjust sweetness or cinnamon to taste and enjoy warm.
